BM TRADA, the independent authorative UK testing house, operates enhanced security Q-Mark schemes
for doors, to support Secured By Design (SBD), the police initiative to reduce crime
on housing developments by incorporating crime prevention measures at the design stage.

BM TRADA's schemes for enhanced security were introduced to support the
testing requirements for doors to achieve SBD approval:

Doors - PAS 23 and PAS 24 testing for 'General' and 'Enhanced security' performance of door assemblies.

Certification will soon be a requirement for entrance doors and in SBD developments.
It provides the assurance that the doorsets installed on site meet the same high standards
as those tested and therefore offer the same protection.

By specifying or selecting a Jedson Q-Marked composite door you can be assured that it has demonstrated
the required performance levels through independent accredited testing or appraisal,
and that every Jedson composite door manufactured offers the same level of performance
through an approved quality management system.

Performance and production of our composite doors continue to be regularly checked
through audit testing and inspections.
